Kevin Jones | Board Member

A qualified accountant and member of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Kevin has been with Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings (“TGS”) since its inauguration in 1996, firstly in the role of Finance Director, then from 2004 as CEO and as from 2020 as Executive Chairman.

TGS is Toyota Motor Corporation’s official supplier of vehicles to the UN and Aid Organisations and stocks over 1000 vehicles to meet the requirements of the aid community.

Additionally, TGS provides a variety of in-country training courses one of which is Eco Friendly driving where drivers are given the tools to lower their fuel consumption and reduce their fuel emissions.

Whilst Kevin has to oversee the company as a whole, he has always kept a keen interest in our customers operations in the field, such as the challenges they face when operating a fleet of vehicles under extreme conditions. To keep abreast of such issues, Kevin regularly meets with TGS trainers after they return from their numerous field training missions. The feedback he receives helps him to better understand such challenges and also to ensure that TGS, as a long term supplier to the Aid community, can provide the necessary support and assistance to our customers who have to overcome such challenges to deliver necessary aid in the field.

Kevin works closely with Toyota Tsusho Corporation and the TGS executive team to map out the changes required to meet the environmental challenges faced in the sector.
