Fleet Forum to highlight Humanitarian Fleet Management at Global Fleet Summit 2024

On May 13 – 15, Fleet Forum’s very own Paul Jansen, Executive Director, will join corporate industry leaders at the Global Fleet Summit, hosted by Nexus Communication. This annual event gathers managers of the world’s largest multinational commercial fleets., offering a unique platform for dialogue and learning.

Engaging Global Leaders for a Sustainable Future

Fleet Forum, a consistent participant at this summit, leverages the event to draw inspiration for new developments and gather market intelligence critical for our members. It is also a vital opportunity to engage potential suppliers, furthering the aid and development sector's sustainability goals.

The urgency of sustainability in fleet management is underscored by the fact that transport accounts for 15% of global greenhouse gas emissions. As such, the Global Fleet Summit's agenda prioritizes discussions on robust decarbonization strategies—a challenge shared by both commercial companies and humanitarian organisations.

Insights into Fleet Operations in Challenging Regions

By engaging in this summit, Fleet Forum will share invaluable insights with suppliers and company fleet managers on the nuances of operating in the Middle East and Africa. Paul Jansen will take center stage as an expert panelist, together with Richard Sikkel of Massar Solutions to delve into fleet sustainability challenges specific to the Africa & Middle East regions. Their panel discussion is scheduled for May 15.

A Focused Agenda on Sustainable and Effective Fleet Management

Throughout the summit, Fleet Forum will participate in sessions addressing critical issues such as:

  1. The necessity of open-source data for accurate GHG reporting.

  1. Tailoring EV infrastructure for global fleets.

  1. Building sustainable supplier relationships.

  1. Implementing successful change management strategies.
