Job Description:

*Position location: To be determined by the home country of the successful candidate within the Southern Africa Region, where World Vision International (WVI) is registered to operate. However, candidates outside the region are encouraged to apply and should have the right to work in any of the Southern Africa Region countries where WVI is registered to operate.


Job Purpose:

The Regional Road Safety and Fleet Management Lead will build on existing work and be responsible for ensuring strategic implementation of fleet management policy as part of WV operations across the Southern Africa Region, including the design and delivery of context-specific policies, systems and trainings per WVI standards. This will include using data to improve the performance of overall fleet management while building Field Office capacity to conduct country specific analysis. It will drive fleet management improvements across the region and will include working with the ten offices in the region to build a safer, greener and more efficient fleet.


Together with Field Office Fleet Focal Points, the Regional Security Director and Global Centre Fleet staff, this position will drive fleet management improvements across the region including working with the ten offices in the region to build a safer, greener and more efficient fleet.
