Save the Children (SCI) is looking for a Roving Fleet Manager will provide operational management to Save the Children Internationals fleet management function at regional and country levels.
Reporting to the Global Fleet Manager, s/he will support the transformation strategy within the Global Supply Chain Management Team. SCI’s global fleet estate consists of more than 1,700 light vehicles, thousands of motorcycles, rentals, and other vehicles.
As a Roving Fleet Manager, you will work in a community that is actively professionalising fleet management. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Plan and coordinate the In Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) implementation in counties
Proactively engage Fleet Managers to implement fleet service charge
Lead and conduct fleet rightsizing programs together with country stakeholders
Lead, plan and co-ordinate vehicle disposal programs with Countries, through auctions or other means to maximise the revenue from the sale of vehicles
French Language skills are very desirable. The Roving Fleet Manager can work from London or any existing SCI office location. SCI is offering a 2 years fixed-term contract.
