With only a day to go, the Fleet Forum team is preparing and rehearsing and we're talking teams and presenters through last minute questions. And as the Borish team is getting the studio ready for the 2024 virtual Annual Fleet Forum Conference, which starts on Tuesday June 25 and continues on Wednesday June 26, we will share with you some practical information:
How do you join our virtual Annual Conference?
You can find the registration link on our website. Visit: https://www.fleetforum.org/annual-conference and register. You will then receive a link to join us on the Airmeet platform, this is where the virtual conference takes place. Click on the link, and you are in! → You might want to bookmark the link for easy access the next day.
If you cannot participate in the Conference:
If for any reason, you cannot live participate in the Conference in real time on Airmeet, you can follow everything that happens online.
You can find us:
On Twitter: we share real time updates on what, who and when. Use the hashtag #AnnualConference2024 to see all the latest updates in one overview.
After the Conference, we will place videos of the sessions on our Knowledge Platform (view: Conference Proceedings). If you are a Fleet Forum Member, make sure to check in as you can re-watch the sessions by logging into your account.
What is on the Agenda?
We have breakout sessions with different topics on both days, there are plenary sessions and Keynote presentations. If you like to plan ahead on the sessions you would like to join, click here for the most recent Agenda.
🌎 What is new this year?
We're excited to announce we'll be trialling a new live translation service in our 2024 Virtual conference this year. For the very first time we will be testing closed captions during the sessions in various different languages. This year you will have the ability to watch sessions in real-time with your preferred language translation.
As the Agenda for the conference will explore digital tools we thought it was only fitting to incorporate these into the conference itself and most importantly ensure our global network have equal opportunity to engage.
What is the Network Opportunity?
When you register for the Conference, you will receive a link to Airmeet. On both days, from 10AM to 12PM and from 5.30 to 6.30 Airmeet allows us to gather in "virtual rooms" each with their own topic. On both days you will have the opportunity to take a seat at the table in one of the rooms, and ask questions, meet peers, start a discussion or just listen and learn.
In Airmeet, go to: Reception and scroll down to Networking.
Are there any costs?
Participating in the Annual Conference is free of charge for our Fleet Forum Member Organisations. Anyone from anywhere in the world with an internet connection can join, but for non-members, a fee applies. Scroll down on this page to view the fee for non Fleet Forum Members.
We thank our sponsors Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings, WHO and Borish for helping us to make this event possible.
