1) Transport Officer
Objectives of the programme
Country Management Support Units (CSU) have been established in the organisational structure to provide support for Managers and staff to fully assume their responsibilities in the GSM environment and to ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, rules and regulations on all administrative and financial matters and transactions in the context of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Purpose of the position
At the country level, the incumbent will oversee the transport management, provide to the WCO Country team secure fleet and transportation services to enable WHO successfully implement a rapid, fully functional and efficient programme delivery. The incumbent will ensure that WHO vehicles are properly equipped, in compliance with relevant procedures for maintenance, tools, log books and related guidelines. Responsibilities also include training and supervising drivers, mechanics and other support staff as required, in close collaboration with the Logistics/Fleet Manager and other management and administrative staff.

2) Logistics/Fleet Manager

Purpose of the position
The incumbent will oversee the Logistics and fleet management for the country office, ensuring rapid and secure fleet and transportation and logistics support services to enable WHO successfully implement its programme activities. The incumbent will ensure that WHO vehicles are properly equipped, in compliance with relevant procedures for maintenance, tools, logbooks and related guidelines. Responsibilities also include contracting, training and supervising drivers, mechanics and other support staff as required. He/She will also oversee logistic support functions such as asset management, customs clearance, travel management and protocol, in close collaboration with the Operations Officer and other management and administrative staff.
